Packing Wisely for Travel

Pack light. Choose two colours so you can mix and match. Dark colours travel well. Pack shoes and belts first. You can put socks or underwear in your shoes. Wrap shoes in plastic if there is a danger of shoe polish rubbing off.

Place trousers in next. Tissue or plastic between clothes will allow them to slide rather than crush.

Pack more shirts than trousers. A fresh shirt and tie can dress up the same pair of pants from day to evening.

Fold your shirts with a long fold, so that the front horizontal fold is below the belt line. Socks or underwear can be used to keep the collar in shape.

Microfibre underwear and socks are a lightweight option for travel.
